Hello. I think I have figured out how to solve B450 tomahawk max audio problems, particularly it being silent. Download the newest audio drivers from here (select driver, your OS, On-Board audio drivers, Realtek HD Universal driver (if you have Windows 10 RS3 or later versions)). Download Realtek Audio Control Panel from the Microsoft store.
Aug 1, 2022. #1. My motherboard is Asus TUF Z690-plus WiFi D4 and its audio never worked since I built my pc. After I installed the drivers for the first time, I went to YouTube and wanted to see how was the audio but at that time there was no sound to be heard. I went to Windows' audio settings page and tested the onboard audio, the volume was
Realtek changed driver formats or driver structure to using modern DCH based drivers a few years ago on most modern boards from MSI and other motherboard makers and no longer use the traditional or standard (or non-DCH or non-UAD) driver format in most cases. DCH based Realtek audio drivers use the Realtek Audio Control or Realtek Audio Console
Consult your motherboard manual to see if this might be the case. No Debug LEDs Lighting Up. Now, if you do not see any LEDs turn on when the PC fails to boot/POST, it may be an issue relating to the power supply unit you are using. First, double-check that the 24-pin ATX power supply connector is properly plugged into the motherboard.
Try the rear jacks and again no sound. The sound used to work just fine in either output but lately now it stopped working. So i'm assuming it's a driver issue. I've tried reinstalling Nvidia Drivers to get the Nvidia HD audio drivers freshly installed and nothing.
Make sure to download the AMD chipset drivers for your motherboard, then download and install the Realtek audio drivers. Even without any speakers connected you should be able to switch from Stereo, 5.1 Surround & 7.1 Surround. Click to expand That did it! Thank you.
So your realtek Hd Audio Manager will not load, has disappeared from control Panel etc.. This is what worked for me to get it working again Without Re-instal
I've also noticed that under the Device Manager > Sound, Video and Game Controllers section, there is a caution sign next to "Bluetooth Hands-free Audio". It has the following message under the general tab: "This device cannot start. (Code 10) Access Denied A process has requested access to an object, but has not been granted those access rights."

I have a MSI Gaming Z97 Gaming motherboard and am having troubles getting my mic on headset to work. I have updated MB, GPU, and realtek drivers. What's odd is that when I side-load the 3.5mm mic jack on either the upper-front or rear 3.5mm inputs, it appears mic signal is being received, but it is not clear, and seems to be static.

Right click on the Start button or press Windows + X and select Device Manager. Under Device Manager, expand Sound, video and game controllers or section where audio devices are listed. Intel 7600k CPU. Asus Z170-A Motherboard. EVGA 1080 GTX FTW. GSkill DDR4 3200. EVGA 850 watt Nova PSU. Windows 10 Home OS. NZXT S340 Elite Case. Everything has been working absolutely fine with the PC except for the audio. When I plug headphones into the front audio jack of my case, I get bad audio.
