I just bought a 2002 CBR 600 F4i with just over 12k miles on it. I guess I was wondering what type of oil you tend to put in your bike, and what octane of fuel do you use?

CBR600 F4i Fuel Consumption. My 2001 CBR 600 F4i has always been a heavy drinker but it has gotten worse lately. Last tank only got me 97 miles before the reserve light came on. This was at a steady 90m/h on the motorway. Last summer the reserve light came on after only 125km in France (at constant 240km/h).

Search around on the net, there's a manual for the F4i floating around and I'm 99% positive it has all the specs in it. The last 2 posts are what I've been searching for. can't seem to find a post that has both answers in 1 so here: Stock sprocket teeth size on the '07 and up CBR600RR is: Front - 16. Rear - 42. I plan on changing to a 15T (-1) sprocket up front and stay 42T (stock) in the rear.

It could be too high of a demand so you will get your answer due to lower output voltage showing at the battery. Should stay between 14.0-14.6 @ 5k rpms iirc.
