There is NO benefit to buying better trucks for your hired drivers. None. It makes no difference at all. Tip here, if money is super tight you can change the paintjob to a cheaper color to save about $500 per truck. Strip off optional accessories like the sun shield and front mirror to save even more valuable cash. Perform more jobs until you can afford a new Iveco Truck and hire a driver for it (89,100 + 1,500 = 90,600 euros for a truck plus driver). Don't forget that you will still need some money to cover expenses and the new driver will likely lose money until they level up a bit.

You can cheat and one of various "XP cheats" or Money cheat mods available. They work for you and hired drivers. When you no longer want or need them disable them in the mod manager. I use Scania trucks and splurge on nice trucks for me, but no so much for hired drivers. They get a nice truck with a sleeper and a nice configuration.
