Theactuator is most likely dead and slightly out of place. Try pushing down on top of the trunk lid while you turn the key and see if it pops the trunk. Hi, I had something very similar, it was the hand lever that is invisible on the boot lip, the bracket holding it works loose and moves up so you cant make it 'click' and unlock. Removing the boot cover will reveal the bracket and you can adjust it to start working again. Reply Like.
